THE AREA
If you love mountains and outdoor activities, Evritania should not be missed. The adventure starts long before you reach the chalet. Leaving behind Tymfristos mountain you cross an uninterrupted dark green fir forest with amazing mountain views.
Nearby destinations are PANTAVREHI gorge in KRIKELLOPOTAMOS river, the old church PANAGIA, TSOUMA peak, KALIAKOYDA mountain peak at 2.100 m with breathtaking views & a wild animals' reserve. In the area there is also a ski centre.
The villages KRIKELLO (3km) & DOMNISTA (12km) have taverns with traditional food, coffee bars, stores with handmade gifts, grocery and butcher shops. Karpenissi, the capital of Evrytania is 23km away.
